Sou'Wester International  Bike Rally Rules:

• No Three Wheelers Permitted
• Operational front and rear brakes are required on all bikes, OEM type on bikes must be in good condition
• Chain and/or belt guards and clutch covers are required on all entries.
• Bikes that run 10.99 or quicker and all bikes must have an ignition cut off switch attached to the rider with a lanyard
• Tank mounted fuel shutoffs are required on all bikes that run 9.99 or quicker
• Snap back throttles are required on all machines
• No bicycle parts permitted on any machine
• Front suspension tie downs are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Front suspensions must have a minimum of 1 ½ inches of travel. Suspension and chasis on bikes must maintain OEM configurations.
• Stock, off road tires are not permitted for competition. Stiff sidewall street tires must be installed for ¼ mile competition.
• Rear fender of all bikes must cover the full width of tire used, extend behind rear axle and below rider seating position. Road race type seats with hump back extending over the axle will be accepted.
• All machines must have stable and secure seat, foot pegs and handle grips.
• All bike riders must wear full face snell90 or newer approved helmet.
• All riders must wear acceptable gloves, boots or shoes above the ankles. Full leathers or Kevlar suites are mandatory on all entries.
