2008 is the 3rd annual for
the "Sou'Wester International Bike Rally". Building on the success of the previous two years, the organizing
committee has assembled an impressive lineup of events and attractions, all for the benefit and enjoyment of the biking and
non-biking public. This year most of the attractions will be situated on the Yarmouth Airport property and will include; venders,
bike drag races, ATV pulls, 4x4 Truck pulls, "Street Punishment" bike show, Bike games, food concessions, Kids inflatable's,
Scott Bros. Timber Show, "Pocket Bike" races plus other attractions. Off airport activities include Bikini Bike
wash, guided & un-guided bike tours, Geo-cache Ride, Dart Run, Show-n-Shine (downtown Yarmouth), Friday night "Welcome
BBQ", Biker breakfasts and Saturday night waterfront activities. The organizing committee is completely volunteer and
after each Rally, the committee decides on a local Charity to donate to. Last year the Yarmouth Hospital was the recipient
of two oversized wheelchairs from the rally committee. So please, look over this website, mark the date on your calendar and
plan on attending for the full 3 day event. You will enjoy yourself!
